2011 Topps Update US 175 Mike Trout Gold Rookie

2011 Topps Update US175 Mike Trout Gold Rookie

I picked this up on eBay about a month ago. It was not graded. When I got it in the mail I couldn't believe the condition, so I sent it for submission to PSA. PSA is a professional sports authentication company, they grade cards, tickets, do autograph authenticity, etc., and are known as the leader in grading services throughout the  world. So the Topps Update US175 Mike Trout is considered his true rookie card. There are various versions of the card that Topps made, Base, Walmart Blue, Target Red, Diamond Anniversary, Cognac, Gold, etc. This card in particular is numbered to 2011. So there are only 2011 made, that's pretty good. The real prize in this card is that there are only 20 graded PSA 10 Gem Mint. The highest on the scale of PSA grading. PSA grades from 1-10. Check out there website www.psacard.com or you can find the link on the sidebar. The population on a GEM MINT 10 Gold is much lower than the Diamond Anniversary which has a pop of (156) sells in upwards of $1000-1500.  There is not a current value on what this card would sell for.  Trout's cards are stable and being that he is only 25 and has won 2 MVP's in six seasons. Who knows what the ceiling is on this one or any of his cards. I know that the US175 is probably the best non-auto card of Trout. I have collected Trout since 2013. Even then the cards were pricey. But they hold value. His cards are what everyone is after. He is considered to be the best player in baseball by mostly everyone you talk to. Thanks for reading!!
